STEM Connection

HFA1008

Have you ever met a software programmer?  Ask them if they've ever played hide and seek with a piece of broken code.  Hide and seek may seem like just a childish game - fun, but childish.  The fact is, it teaches kids important critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Every STEM career requires those skills.  So all that time you thought was just horsing around, we actual very important cognitive development time.  Oh yeah, and import time to really get to know every nook and cranny of a house/hotel room/back yard/etc.  (Side Note:  Your future architect will thank you later, I'm sure.)

Best Location

Personally, I love a good outside game of hide and seek.  Lots more places to hide (usually).  However, anywhere there are places to hide without other people "tipping off" the chosen seeker too easily is a good spot to play hide and seek.

Project Materials List

Nothing.  Nada. Zilch.

Although, professional hidders will don dark clothing if you're playing outside just around sunset or after, but you didn't hear that from me. Just don't play in/near a street.  Safety first!!
