Will my kids LOVE the Festival?

Absolutely!  What a great thing to do with kids on a mid-March day.  They'll learn about the special powers of Pi as an important mathematical number.  They'll giggle over a slice of Albert Einstein's birthday cake.  They might even have fun trying to figure out how gravity and mass are all relative.  The festival is perfect for kids age 5 to 12!

Do I need tickets to attend?

Nope!  Just come on in and enjoy the fun.

Should I make reservations?

Seating at tables will be on a first come first serve basis all day.  Large groups of 7 or more may need to be split up and seated at separate tables.  Due to the nature of the festival, we will not be accepting any table reservations on festival day.

How do I sign up for the Pie Eating contest?

Come into the store between 11:00am and 11:45 on the day of the festival and sign up at the front desk.  Space will be limited to 12 contestants.  Each contestant will be given one whipped cream pie to eat.  The person who finishes their entire pie first will win a STEMporium gift card.

How do I sign up for the Look-Alike contest?

Just bring your grandfather/friend who looks like Einstein to the STEMporim by 12:45.  Be sure to provide your name and the name of your entry at the front desk.  Judging will take place at 1pm.

How do I sign up for the Pi Recitation contest?

Sign up at the front desk by 1:55.  The person who can recite the most digits in Pi will win a STEMporium gift card.

Is the Science Demonstration Free?

Yes!  It will be totally free.  We'll hold the demonstration in our main event room. Space will be limited.  The demonstrations should take about 20 minutes.

What's a Promposal?

A Promposal is when a guy or girl asks another guy or girl to the prom in a unique and special way...like say by sending a rose down an indoor zipline or putting a secret message on a cypher decoder key or preparing a laser maze card that points to a piece that say "prom?" or using baking soda to inflate a balloon that says "prom?" or...well...you get the picture.  We've got lots of promposal options.  You're only limited to your creativity.
