Attend an Event with the Center for the Inland Bays
The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays is one of our favorite local groups because their mission is to Research, Educate, and Restore. They're all about making sure the watery parts the earth in lower Delaware is monitored regularly for signs of problems and signs of regeneration. They do all sorts of interesting projects like surveying fish, counting horseshoe crabs, and replanting important vegetation in marshlands that helps keep water clean. They are fascinating, and a must see if they're having any kind of event.
The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays is just a small building. They conduct most of their activities and events at various places along the bays and beaches.
Their physical location is at:
39375 Inlet Rd
Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
